Words NOT to use when describing something [+more tips]:

Like [Like he was so like tan that it was so like funy!]
Don't start everything out the same way!
Be creative! instead of saying "His eyes were blue", say "His eyes were as deep blue as the peek of the Ocean"
Put yourself into the story! Us your personality, make it personal, it's much more interesting to read that way.
Don't start out with "Hello, I'm ___ And this is my story"
Don't end with "The end" unless you're doing it in a comical way! It's wy to cheesy and dumb sounding.
Use interesting plots, and character names!
NO COPYING OR USING OTHER AUTHORS PLOTS! It's stealing, wrong, and will only give you a bad rep
